2026年1月7日，國家主席習(xí)近平復(fù)信由美國佛羅里達(dá)州邁阿密鉆石領(lǐng)航學(xué)院、佛羅里達(dá)大學(xué)、邁阿密戴德學(xué)院組成的青少年教育交流團(tuán)訪華師生。
On January 7, 2026, President Xi Jinping replied to a letter from a U.S. youth education exchange delegation comprised of teachers and students from the Diamond Minds Transformational Leadership Academy in Miami, Florida, the University of Florida, and Miami-Dade College.
習(xí)近平表示，很高興得知交流團(tuán)師生在中國度過了一段愉快又充滿收獲的旅程，感受到你們對中華文化的濃厚興趣和真摯情感。
Xi Jinping said he was pleased to learn that the teachers and students of the exchange delegation had a pleasant and rewarding journey in China, and felt their strong interest and sincere feelings for Chinese culture.
習(xí)近平指出，中美關(guān)系的希望在人民、未來在青年?！?年邀請5萬名美國青少年來華交流學(xué)習(xí)”倡議啟動以來，有超過4萬名美國青少年積極參與，為他們認(rèn)識真實的中國打開了一扇窗，為賡續(xù)兩國人民友誼搭建起一座橋。這充分說明，開展友好交流合作是中美兩國民心所向。期待更多美國青少年加入到中美友好事業(yè)中來，做兩國友好的新一代使者，為增進(jìn)中美人文交往和推動雙邊關(guān)系發(fā)展作出更大貢獻(xiàn)。
Xi Jinping noted that the hope of China-U.S. relations lies in the people, and its future depends on the youth. Since the launch of the initiative to invite 50,000 young Americans to China for exchange and study programs over a five-year period (hereinafter referred to as "50,000 in five years"), over 40,000 U.S. youth have actively participated, opening a window for them to understand the real China and building a bridge to carry forward the friendship between the two peoples. This fully demonstrates that friendly exchanges and cooperation are the shared aspiration of the people of both China and the United States. Xi Jinping said he looks forward to more American youth joining the cause of China-U.S. friendship, becoming a new generation of envoys for friendship between the two countries, and making greater contributions to enhancing people-to-people exchanges between China and the United States and promoting the development of bilateral relations.

Recently, the teachers and students of the U.S. youth education exchange delegation wrote a letter to President Xi Jinping, reviewing their visit to China in October 2025 and expressing gratitude for the "50,000 in five years" initiative proposed by President Xi Jinping, which has provided a valuable opportunity to enhance mutual understanding between the youth of the two countries.
